It is apparent that asset based 3rd party service providers such as truckers, warehouse operators, freight forwarders that have existed all this time still have massive challenges of miscoordination in the supply chains. They have continued to compete as individual entities rather than tap into the synergies offered by taking an integrated supply chain approach. It is this need for business transformation that triggered G4PL’s concept. Graben 4pl was motivated by the desire to lead a transformation of the logistics and supply chain functions in the Great Lakes Region by reducing the information and knowledge gap between principle clients and 3rd party service providers. Graben 4pl was also motivated by the desire to optimise service delivery through continuous 3rd party contract performance improvement.

Graben 4PL has pulled together experts with various proven competence in the fields of both regional and international transport, logistics and supply chain functions. G4PL has a core technical team of logistics, ICT and supply chain professionals and therefore provides a one stop shop centre for expertise and capacity in the areas of transport, warehousing, material handling, DGR /supply chain Security, logistics, project management, supply chain consultancy, information technology, supply chain finance, C&F and manpower development. Graben 4pl is a pioneer 4pl provider in the Great Lakes Region. G4PL shall in turn provide technical expertise and knowledge of the East African logistics market to its international partners.
